A Good News Day
Where do we start? It feels great to be sharing good news so early on in the year. Here at SK, we’re celebrating both long term commitment and a new joiner, with Emma Saltern and Neil Bower moving into bigger roles and Shema Mbawuni joining the team.
First up, Emma, who has just been named as our new Chief Client Officer. She will now have overall responsibility for our advice process as well as for advising clients. Emma is highly driven and is one of the most dedicated and diligent professionals I have worked with. This achievement is down to her quality of character and her unfailing professionalism.
Here’s what Emma had to say about her new role:
“I am delighted to become SK’s Chief Client Officer. I look forward to continuing to work with clients to help them achieve their financial goals. My aim is to eliminate worry and free up head space to allow our clients more time to enjoy the things they love in life. Chatting to clients is a joy and I look forward to spending even more time doing just that.”
We also have a new team member. Step forward Shema Mbawuni. Shema joins us as a Client Assistant offering administrative support to Lisa Tsouroulla and Bethany Buxton. Shema has a wealth of administrative experience and will help us continue to deliver efficient and effective client services.
Shema explains why she is so pleased to join the team:
“I’m thrilled to join SK Financial and be part of a company that displays a strong level of commitment to its clients. I look forward to contributing my expertise and being fully immersed in a firm that truly stays for the journey with its clients. I’m excited to contribute to our reputation by delivering trailored strategies that help our clients achieve exactly what they want to do.”
And last but certainly not least, we’re really excited that Neil will now be taking full responsibility for the day to day running of SK. In his new role as Chief Operating Officer, he will be working on areas such as finance, compliance, risk, people and culture and technology. He will of course still be involved in advising clients.
Neil explains a bit more about what he will be focusing on:
“I have been a part of SK for a long time now and feel like I’ve got a good understanding of how the business works in all areas. We are always looking to improve different aspects of the company. I’m really looking forward to heading that up and ensuring we continue to deliver a high-level service to all of our clients who are always at the centre of every decision we make”.
