Established in 2004, SK Financial is an independent financial planning practice, aiming to provide the highest standard of advice to clients on all aspects of financial planning.
With 20 years’ experience across the industry. We specialise in providing clear and impartial advice on all aspects of financial planning.
We are regulated to assess mortgage, life assurance, pension and investment products from across the whole market.
I co-founded SK Financial (SKF) in 2004. One of my core philosophies is building long-term relationships with clients. I am keen to ensure that SKF continues to deliver a high level of quality and faithful service to clients. I work with a broad range of clients that are typically business owners and entrepreneurs and I have experience with corporate affinity schemes.
I am also responsible for SKF’s Human Resources and Compliance functions.
Without doubt I use up all of my annual holiday entitlement! In addition to my love of seeing and enjoying different cultures and sights around the word I also enjoy being there for my family and trying to be there for Tottenham Hotspur.
I joined the profession of financial services in 2002 after completing my Business and Finance degree at Westminster University. Before joining SKF I worked at Kleinwort Benson Private Bank.
I offer my clients and the team strong product and technical knowledge whilst maintaining a high level of client satisfaction. I am also responsible for making the office tick with regard to the finances, the management information and for venues for our quarterly team social evenings.
When I am not in the office you can either find me supporting Tottenham, watching the boxing, looking after the three ladies in my life or listening to podcasts. Not always in that order though.
I joined SKF in 2009. I provide advice to clients, typically in the financial services, sports and entertainment sectors. David and Neil put me in charge of running SKF in 2016, a challenge that I readily accepted.
I sit on the General Committee for Surrey County Cricket Club, and as a Liveryman for the Haberdashers’ Company I represents the Haberdashers as a School Governor for Knights Academy.
Outside of these commitments, you can find me watching my “local” football team, watching cricket at Surrey (usually after tea has been taken) or taking the dog for a walk on the Common (my wife’s father believes this is code for going to the pub).
I am the fourth Client Director! I have been part of the financial services profession since completing a BA Hons Accounting degree at Bournemouth University in 1999. I worked at Kleinwort Benson for 10 years and was Head of Financial Planning before taking a short career break to raise my family. I joined SKF in October 2014 to work alongside Kunle in advising new and existing clients on all aspects of financial planning.
I enjoy horse riding (whenever my daughters will give me the time to do this) and I am one of the more competitive members of our team when it comes to our team social evenings.
I joined SKF in 2009. I primarily assist Kunle in a PA capacity as well as supporting David, Neil and Emma with their client work. I worked at Kleinwort Benson and it was important for me when I joined SKF that I could continue to work on a part time basis so that I could have time for my family and my voluntary commitments.
The team say that my natural organisation skills are key in to my other main duty for SKF, arranging our quarterly socials, birthday cards, team meetings and checking that we are all using our holiday allowance. I just like to help others.
I am a skilled and experienced administrator, adept at dealing with clients and responsible for our back office and other office functions. I worked with David at a previous financial services firm and my organisational skills and confident manner helps me to organise others around me and our clients.
I take a lot of pleasure being able to spend time with my family. I too, like David enjoy travelling and now and then I bring some lovely homemade cakes into the office.
I have over 20 years’ experience in the financial services profession, having originally trained as a tied adviser with Bristol & West/Eagle Star. I switched to the independent advice sector in 2001, becoming a Paraplanner for a pension transfer specialist in Berkshire, and then as a Senior Paraplanner for an IFA firm based in Twickenham.
When not at work, I enjoy time at home with my young children and where time allows, honing my skills on the chess board and following my beloved Bristol City FC!
I joined the SK Team in March 2018. I am responsible for the new business applications, for coordinating the SK monthly newsletter and for social media ideas. I am interested in all things creative. I have a fashion background and my haberdashery skills help me to relax as well keep me busy.
Just like David and Lesley, I enjoy travelling. It’s so much easier to visit different cities in the UK and Europe whilst being in London, as opposed to being based in New Zealand!
“The efficiency has saved me time and money which is a focal part of my investment.”
“If ever I require something that is ‘out of the ordinary’, query about a particular scheme, or even simply for your opinion – you are always aptly available.”
“I can take what you say for face-value, which has further secured my trust in you.”
“You do not supply a false promise as the products I have been presented with always deliver.”
“Surmounted the perfect balance of business and friendship.”
Like MI5 we don’t really do 9 to 5, we’re on call whenever our clients need us.
